Before migration peaks, walk the glass from outside

A window can look harmless from the sofa and look like open sky from the yard. Make the inspection from the bird's approach side.

Look for the illusion, not just the pane

Stand outside at different times of day. Look for reflected vegetation or sky and for clear sightlines through the house that can read as an open flight path.

Check the full treated area

If you already use exterior markers, look for gaps, worn pieces or sections added after a furniture or landscaping change. The objective is a visible pattern across the risky area, not a decorative accent.

WindowAlert Leaf Medley UV Decals

An exterior UV-decal option. UV patterns can be less visible in low light or shade. Review dense whole-pane coverage and alternatives; a purchase alone does not make glass bird-safe.

After identifying the panes that need attention, estimate dense exterior marker coverage for their dimensions. The planning grid does not guarantee collision prevention or replace the treatment maker's installation instructions.
